Celebrating 10 Years of Penrose: 2018 — The Year Stockwood Gardens Took Centre Stage

As part of our 10‑year anniversary celebrations, we’re sharing a short weekly video series looking back at each year of the Penrose journey. This 90‑second clip takes you back to 2018 — the year Stockwood Gardens became a major part of our story, and the year our client base grew stronger than ever thanks to the trust shown by local sellers, buyers

As we continue celebrating 10 years of Penrose, we’re revisiting the years that shaped our journey — and 2018 stands out as one of the most memorable.

This was the year Stockwood Gardens became a major part of our world. Supporting the launch of the development and helping hundreds of buyers and investors secure their new homes was a proud moment for our team. It brought us closer to the community, strengthened our relationships and allowed us to play a key role in one of the area’s most exciting projects.

But Stockwood Gardens was only part of the story.

2018 was also a year where our client base continued to grow. More landlords, sellers and buyers chose Penrose to guide their moves, and that trust meant everything to us. Every instruction, every viewing and every sale reinforced the responsibility we have to deliver the high standards we set for ourselves from day one.

Looking back, 2018 was a year of opportunity, growth and gratitude. It reminded us why we built Penrose in the first place — to offer a more personal, people‑focused approach to estate agency, and to support our community through every step of their move.

This short video is the third chapter in our 10‑year celebration series. Each week, we’ll share another year from our journey — the milestones, the challenges, the growth and the people who helped shape Penrose into the agency it is today.

Thank you for being part of our story.

Rental growth has eased, but tenants are still searching carefully and landlords need to stay on top of pricing, compliance and property standards as the summer moving season continues.

As part of our 10‑year anniversary celebrations, this week’s video looks back at 2022 — the year we won two ESTAS awards in London for both sales and lettings, presented by Phil Spencer. A proud moment for our team and a milestone shaped entirely by client feedback. Click below to watch our 2022 story.

The rental market continues to shift, with new rules, rising rents and affordability pressures all shaping landlord decisions. July is a good time to review your property and your plans.
