As we continue celebrating 10 years of Penrose, we’re looking back at the moments that shaped us — and the people who made it possible.

2017 was one of those years.

After launching in 2016, we entered 2017 hopeful, but nothing prepared us for the level of trust the community would show us. More landlords, sellers and buyers chose Penrose that year than ever before, and by the end of 2017 we had proudly completed 150 sales. For a young independent agency, that support meant everything.


But the moment that truly stayed with us was winning an ESTAS Award for Outstanding Customer Service in London. What made it special is that ESTAS awards are based entirely on client feedback. It wasn’t about a trophy — it was about knowing that the people who trusted us felt genuinely looked after. That meant the world to our small team.

2017 wasn’t just a year of growth — it was a year of gratitude. A year where we realised how many people believed in what we were building, and a year that strengthened our commitment to delivering the high standards we set for ourselves from day one.
